A fireplace screen is required for these classic fireplace designs as it can prevent sparks or embers from flying off.

No matter what fireplace design type for your home that you choose, make sure it fits to your house's theme. For example an older house should look for a classic fireplace design rather than the modern design as it is more likely that it won't go well with modern fireplace designs.
